So there is this kid who posts about exams and murder/kidnapping in Mosul, write about what you know eh. So I was going looking through the comments and the usual Dear Maas, sympathetic words. But then at comment five, oh have you already guessed, some days i am so slow getting the words out far too verbose, odd sort of quaker i'd be, but then they are odd even if they don't talk about that side much. So it's from bunnygirlstringofnumbers saying do you want free porn, if you want free porn. I am not sure if this is a post-modernist ironic inversion of the dirty arab trying to sell banned seaside postcards to honest working class folk on their summer 'ols, I am not knocking porn, it's the suggestion that it would be free, people who are into sex and drugs and rock 'n roll are still supposed to say but not to kidz, so we all look down on those who hang around schoolyards trying to give away free drug samples, but when you think about it they make the best long term investment. It's why banks offer students such great deals on bank accounts, because you will be very unlikely to change your bank account, far more likely to change your wife or your house. And it was certainly a brilliant long term investment plan to make alcopops, i am sure women always love sickly sweet dwinks, the main problem with getting kids hooked on alcohol is that they found beer or lager just too bitter. So anyway I applaud the entrepreneurial spirit intrinsic to the interverse, someone has to pay to keep the stuff running, let's not become all childish and selfrighteous. Frankly with the horrors of civil war which we aren't calling a civil war why two theories one is not to talk up the problem second is all amurkans are liars, the only reason an amurkan might say I am lying is because he wants to mess with your mind. The nation is built on lies. The most damaging subversive act anyone can commit in the free world is to tell the truth. It's getting to be harder, the only reason you call me insane is because the majority are sane, if the majority were with me then you'd be the one they were calling insane. A teenage boy does not need an excuse to see porn. But it reminds me of the way Marvin Gaye composed sexual healing, he was going through another one of his cocaine binge self-hatred phases while trying to get his act together and a visiting friend saw all the S&M porn mags he was masturbating to, and he said you don't need sexual pain you need sexual healing, and Marvin asked what's sexual healing, that was his other come back song, before he manufactured his own murder. I don't get people who have faith in God. When they have the real mcCoy beautiful people, i guess i don't get the God in whom they put their Faith. Oh yeah I didn't comment on the site, it's a strick liability offence, there is no protection in law for outreach workers but we had a protocol we went through if the addict with whom we were chatting got shaken down by the cops. I figured post here. I don't work outreach no more forever.

I really think that porn has corrupted men’s idea of what is attractive and what is real. I know that saying this opens up a bag of worms but I don't mind right now. If porn was really only viewed by adults we may have some fighting chance. The porn magazines viewed by our boys are not realistic; it teaches them that women are objects. It also send home the message what sexy is, lets face it right now teen aged girls are already quite beautiful but they still feel like they are not because of the images that are out there. Is this the only problem... probably not but come on now, how can you live up to the beauty of those women in a magazine when they are air brushed?
The magazines are not realistic, I understand that for what they are used for it may be better that way... but it is not helping...
Sick that someone would advertise porn on someone else’s site...If I read it correctly too, the person was young...Advertisements for smokes, alcohol and anything else that is meant for adults can't be advertised at all here in Canada... well there is beer commercials but they have to be at certain times of the day... and can't be on kids channels... I don't think kids should have to be subjected to these things.... Just let our kids be kids...

It's what keeps psychotherapists in bi'ness. Porn is possibly a symptom, my own problem with it is that it dresses up something ugly as if it were beautiful, and it does it quite convincingly. Masturbation is about release not having a spiritual union with the self, I recall once at Table with some novices we had invited the local visiting american anglican vicar to join us for table fellowship, a friday in lent we rejigged it to a feast day. The deacon had previously told me well we all know what sex is because every boy has masturbated. I countered with no it's more like a Rhumba masturbation is not comparable. but if you could produce porn that was not a pretence was beautiful and treated each partner with dignity and respect hey what do you think of the joy of sex video for younglings?
